I have a straight, long, black hair at the moment. And this type of hairstyle suggests femaleness, discreetness and wisdom. I’ve always believed in what my mom usually told me about the way people show off themselves. Many of our attitude and character is reflected by the way we disclose ourselves to the public. When I think about this principle, I always make sure that I appear good, neat and tough to those who probably predict what it is in me as a lady.
I have a friend who often amazes me with the way he expresses himself. Even in a big crowd, he stands out not only because of his bright mind but also because of his manner of talking, styling out his clothes and hair.
I suddenly remember one bad hair day I had two months ago. I was not in a good shape then when my friend showed up with his Afro hairstyle and gave a blast of amazement. Everyone to be surprised by his new look. His afro hairstyle looked great on him and in that moment, I just couldn’t believe how I appreciated more this type of hairstyle. Like in seventies, my friend has let his coiled hair grow out.
Many actors and singers have this Afro look up to now. Somehow, just like my friend, afro hairstyle of the seventies, gives a picture of power and pride especially among Black men and women. It also gives us the idea about equality among humans and beauty that is a matter of relativity. Surely, no matter what your hairstyle is, Afro just reminds us that every human being has a character of his own.
